League of Legends is taking a break from competitive play to showcase its top players, voted by the fans, in a fun All-Star event from Riot Studios in Los Angeles, California.
The group stage is separated into two four-team blocks. The regions selected were based on their performances at this year's World Championships. They will play against each other in their group once and the top two teams from each group will advance to the semifinals.
The rosters and the teams they played with during the 2017 splits are given below. Some players have changed teams since the World Championship concluded.

In addition to the All-Star tournament, there is also a 1v1 tournament. Each coach of the All-Star teams chooses two players to represent their region in this tournament. The 16-player tournament will be contested on a different setting, on Howling Abyss, with the winner getting 100 minions killed, or CS, first blood or first turret destroyed. Howling Abyss is a single lane battlefield, compared to the three-lane Summoner's Rift.
