The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask Limited Edition Pre-Orders sells out in a matter of minutes
The game is expected to release in Spring of 2015.

Today’s announcement of the limited edition release of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D came as a surprise to most since North America is usually passed over for special releases like this. However, it looks like most gamers will still go wanting as pre-orders for the game have opened at two major retailers and were quickly gone. Nintendo had declared the stores Amazon, Fry and Gmastop to be exclusive to the release of the pre-orders.

For both Gamestop and Amazon their stocks disappeared within a matter of minutes precisely within an hour, a few popped up again, likely due to cancellations, but now it seems to be final as both stores have yet to have any for sale in some time. The only hope left for fans of The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask are to try in-store pre-orders or to keep checking other possible retailers.

Best Buy, for example, has yet to open pre-orders although it isn’t certain that they will offer the limited edition at this time. Intrepid gamers should keep an eye out and check with their local stores to see if they can snag one, otherwise it will likely become a much higher price through eBay. The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D Limited Edition contains a copy of the regular game for Nintendo 3DS as well as a speical Skull Kid figurine made especially for this release.

No official release date is set for the game, which is exclusive to the 3DS, but the current launch window is Spring 2015
