Marth Amiibos' will be getting a second release in April this year

Nintendo revealed some more details on their latest line of Amiibo figurines at last Nintendo Direct in January. This included details on the new Super Mario line and fourth wave of Smash Bros. Amiibos. Nintendo also confirmed that the extremely rare Amiibo, Marth, would also be usable in the upcoming Code Name S.T.E.A.M release. Because of this, the Amiibo will be getting a reprint this year.

Nintendo America has tweeted that the Marth Amiibo will be getting a second release in late April this year:

While the release date is sooner than what many fans predicted, it still isn’t in time for the release of Code Name S.T.E.A.M. The game is slated to release on March 13th for the Nintendo 3DS. Even though there will be more Marth figurines available soon, the new amiibo printing will still have a 2015 production listing. This means that the first edition Marth Amiibo’s will now be sought after by Collectors everywhere.

With the new Nintendo Direct coming up sometime this month, Nintendo will likely be revealing more on the amiibo release date and pre-order plans. Hopefully this includes news in Ike as well as release dates for Wave 4’s Robin and Lucina, both of whom can be used in Code Name S.T.E.A.M. as well.
