Fans of the Metal Gear franchise will be happy to know that the much anticipated Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain release may be out sooner then they initially predicted.

So far, developers Konami have been very unclear about the release date for Metal Gear Solid V. Many fans assumed the game would be out sometime in late 2015. There were even some rumours floating around in 2014 that the game would be out as early as February 2015. This, of course, has turned out to be false.

However, Konami’s financial report for the year has revealed some new evidence on the games release date. According to the report, the developers have a list of releases planned in Q3, 2015, one of which includes the new Metal Gear Solid V. The Metal Gear Online forums have posted the image of the list on their thread, so you can head to the site and check it out.

Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is also slated to have a global release, which means that the game will be releasing simultaneously worldwide. So fans don’t have to worry about waiting for the release, while Japan gets it first. The list also reveals that the game should be out at the same time for the Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4 and PC.
