New DLC pack for EA Sports UFC to feature Brock Lesnar

EA will be releasing a new DLC pack for EA Sports UFC. The DLC titled “Legends DLC Pack” will feature current WWE World Heavyweight Champion, Brock Lesnar as one of the fighters. Lesnar is no newcomer to UFC, having already made a name for himself by claiming the UFC Heavyweight Champion title in a pretty short time, having claimed the gold on his fourth MMA fight.

Though it’s quite surprising that Lesnar was even allowed to be a part of EA Sports UFC, considering he has already been signed onto WWE and EA is a direct competitor to 2K Sports which publishes WWE 2K15. WWE strictly bars its wrestlers from appearing in video games by other companies and a move like this does need their approval. Lesnar is also a featured wrestler in WWE 2K15.

CM Punk made a statement earlier that WWE seems to favour certain wrestlers over others. So this could be why Brock got the approval to begin with, being one of WWE’s favourites, allowing him to do as he pleases despite being bound to WWE. And this isn’t a very easy decision for WWE to make either. Pretty sure they would not have allowed this decision if it came to any of the other wrestlers.

Favourites or not, Brock’s popularity cannot be disputed. Brock Lesnar was the one of the most popular wrestlers in Ultimate Fighting Championship history. So could this mean he may be returning to UFC sometime soon?
