Renowned developer Firaxis , who developed the popular RTS game Sid Meier’s Civilization: Beyond Earth have not quenched their thirst for space and now they are bringing more adventure for players in the form of a new interstellar strategy-game Sid Meier’s Starships. The game promises to take players on adventurous journey where they can trek across a galaxy , controlling a fleet of ships , finishing various missions that will help empower their federation and helping other planets in their pursuit of success.

Starships is deemed to have a deep roster with different ships that the players will employ and eventually combat against in the RTS. Firaxis has revealed that each mission on the game will have their own unique maps and each will have a different “dynamically generated tactical combat“.
