New Mario Party 10 trailer reveals two more playable characters

Mario Party 10 is slated to release on March 20th for the Wii U

Nintendo’s next big Wii U title, Mario Party 10, is slated to release in less than a month. The upcoming party video game will feature a number of playable characters from across the Mario franchise for players to choose from. Nintendo has now released a brand new trailer for the ahead of the games launch, which reveals two more playable characters for the title.

Some of the games previously revealed playable characters are Donkey Kong, Wario and Rosalina. Most of these characters have also been featured in the first Super Mario series of amiibo figurines. And the new trailer reveals that fan favourites Waluigi and Daisy will also be included in Mario Party 10. Daisy and Waluigi made their Mario party debut in Mario Party 3, and have appeared in every Party franchise ever since. So it’s no surprise that the two will be reappearing in Mario Party 10.

Daisy and Waluigi are not available in amiibo form yet, but it’s only a matter of time before Nintendo releases a figurine based on these characters. According to the trailer, the two do not appear in the amiibo mode selection screen, though this probably because they have not been scanned into the game. Nintendo will probably reveal more in regards to this at the next Nintendo Direct coming this March.
