New story trailer released for The Order: 1886

The Order 1886 new story trailer released

Ready At Dawn reported last week that their upcoming action-adventure title The Order: 1886 has gone gold, which is almost a month ahead of the games big release on February 20th. The development team has now released a new story trailer to celebrate the occasion.

The Order: 1886 was initially scheduled for release in 2014 but was postponed to February 2015 because the developers wanted to add some additional content. The game has taken many years to develop so gamers can probably expect a well-polished title with tons of content.

The development team behind the game have created tons of other classic titles for the PlayStation such as the God of War games, so expectations for this game are pretty high. Ready at Dawn’s CEO, Ru Weerasuriya, revealed that development for The Order: 1886 originally began in early 2010. The game was first announced at the E3 convention in 2013 and took almost two years to release with the developers working hard at polishing and patching up the title before its official launch.

The plot for The Order is also pretty unique. The game is set in an alternate version of London where an old order of (King Arthur’s) Knights are tasked with keeping the city safe from monsters called half-breeds. The characters can use special weapons like the Thermite Gun and players will be able to control of one of the games four protagonists.

The new story trailer looks pretty impressive and shows off some of The Order’s gameplay as well as the games characters in action. The graphics are stunning and very realistic. Check out the story trailer below:
