One of the most anticipated indie action-adventure title Axiom Verge has finally got a release date as confirmed by proud creater and developer Tom Happ . The game brings back the 8-bit era fun of the famous Metroid-vania games that many gamers remember fondly.
This announcement was made on the PlayStation Blog thus scheduling the games release on March 31st for PlayStation 4. In Tom Happ’s own words, the title is a mix of “Super Metroid, Contra, Blaster Master and others, the gameplay incorporates a mix of exploration, hidden powerups, strange creatures to fight, and epic boss battles.” Apart from these features one of the most intriguing powerups is to be able to get the attention of the address disruptor which can be fired at any time in a pursuit to create glitch-like effects within the game. This will enable players to add fun to their puzzles thus helping them in creating interesting situations and encounters.
Axiom Verge is set to release first to PlayStation 4 on March 31st at $19.99 and has yet to announce a PlayStation Vita release date.
