Released: Arma 3 Marksmen DLC Developer Diary

Arma 3

An in-depth video on the development of the upcoming Arma 3 Marksmen DLC has been released by Bohemia Interactive. It is in the form of a developer diary.

The DLC will add a lot to Arma 3. The list consists of seven new weapons, two scopes, remote designators, ghillie suits, firing drills, and additional premium content. Go-karts and Helicopters have been added via previous DLCs. They can be purchased individually or all together via the Arma 3 DLC Bundle.

Bohemia Interactive plans to release a “major platform update”, which will be free for all Arma 3 owners. The update will be available along with the Marksmen DLC and will bring in new gear and improve a number of the game features. The notable improvements in features include the improved recoil simulation, which aims to make the game more realistic, and the improved AI suppression.

The developer diary is hosted by Arma 3‘s Creative Director Jay Crowe, Project Lead Joris-Jan van ’t Land and Encoding Lead Petr Kolar. Here they discuss the “vision behind the Marksmen DLC” and reveal the process behind the development.
