Sony and Nintendo have been delaying the release of their big titles this year to 2016. Many fans have been wondering just when Microsoft’s Halo 5: Guardians would release. There were many rumors that suggested a possible September release. The official Xbox YouTube channel has now released the brand new live-action trailer of what might be one of the biggest games this year. However, the big news is that it revealed the release date for the game.
Halo 5: Guardians is set to release exclusively for Xbox One on October 27, 2015. An October release is something nobody would have anticipated as the series has seen releases in the month of September and November before. Many had said that the game would release during either of the two months but, rumors made us believe that Halo 5: Guardians would be released in September 2015.
The trailer itself focuses on the newcomer Locke as he comes across a very beaten down Master Chief, which really makes you even more excited for the story that will make up the game. The trailer ends with the hashtag of #HuntTheTruth that is going to be the major force that will help with the marketing of the game.
