According to a recent report by Bloomberg, a source has claimed that a new Rock Band 4 is currently in development for the Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Developers Harmonix have so far denied the existence of a Rock Band 4, but if what Bloomberg reports is correct than we may just be hear about another Rock Band title sometime soon.
Rock Band fans have been happy to hear about the recent news, as it is a report from a reputable source. Still, it is best to treat this as rumour till Harmonix confirms the news. Hopefully they will sometime soon.
So far, Rock Band has managed to entertain fans with its multiple smaller releases such as Rock Band Blitz. Harmonix has also continued to release new music tunes for Rock Band 3. Despite this, fans are still hoping for a new release in the game franchise. Harmonix should probably take note of this and get to developing a new Rock Band title (if they aren’t already).
