EA’s upcoming action adventure title, Star Wars Battlefront, will be making its debut at the Star Wars Celebration in Anaheim, CA next month. EA has not revealed much about the game since its announcement at E3 2013, so just about any news of Battlefront is enough to get us hyped.

Here’s what EA had to say in their latest announcement:

“We could not thing of a better or more appropriate place to debut the game officially for the first time than the premier event that celebrates the Star Wars universe and the legions of fans who have fallen in love with it.”

The event is scheduled to take place in Anaheim, California, from April 16th to 19th. Event attendees will probably be the first to see what this game looks and plays like. Developers DICE have been pretty silent on the game so far, something which most fans aren’t too pleased about, especially since the game was announced nearly two years ago. Hopefully the long wait has been worth it.

Games Design Director, Niklas Fegraeus, had stated earlier this year that the game has already been shown to partners behind closed doors, and the rest of the world would just have to wait till “spring” to catch a glimpse of the game. Ea has also stated that it will be revealing more information on the game in the coming weeks. They even have some “exciting news” planned for fans. And by “exciting news”, we hope they mean a new trailer or release date.

Star Wars: Battlefront is slated to release this holiday season for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
