Street Fighter V to be released in Spring 2016

Street Fighter V is all set to be released sometime in spring 2016.

According to a blog post on the Capcom Unity Blog, Street Fighter V will be “coming to the PS4 and PC next Spring“.

A spring 2016 release seems likely as the development for the game started late last year. Capcom has revealed that they have completed developing around 20 percent of the game so far. This gives them ample amount of time to come up with a masterpiece. It is a fighting game and hence development won’t take as long as something like Final Fantasy XV.

Fans can grab some pretty cool Street Fighter V merchandise at PAX East. This includes a t-shirt with Ryu on it priced at $25, a bag worth $10 and you could even buy both at a price of $30.

Even though the game is scheduled to be released in Spring 2016, unexpected things might happen in an year. However, we hope Capcom sticks to its schedule so that the game does not get delayed.
