System requirements for Life is Strange revealed along with it's first diary

The Square Enix studios have now revealed the system requirements for their upcoming game which is developed by the Dontnod. The game is titled “Life is Strange” and is a mystery game as told by the developers. The good thing about the game is that, although it’s a mystery game, the hardware required to play are very cheap and affordable and probably every system in today’s world will have the recommended configuration. Below is the list of the minimum and recommended requirements as released by the studio.

Minimum:

  • OS: Windows Vista
  • Processor: Dual Core 2.0GHz or equivalent
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM
  • Graphics: ATI or NVidia card w/ 512 MB RAM (not recommended for Intel HD Graphics cards)
  • DirectX: Version 9.0
  • Hard Drive: 3 GB available space

Recommended:

  • OS: Windows 7
  • Processor: Dual Core 3.0GHz or equivalent
  • Memory: 2 GB RAM
  • Graphics: ATI or NVidia card w/ 1024 MB RAM (NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 or ATI HD 4890)
  • DirectX: Version 9.0
  • Hard Drive: 3 GB available space

If your computer doesn’t even support the minimum requirements of this game, then please stop calling yourself a gamer and spend your money on upgrading your PC. Along with this, the studio announced that the first five episodes of the game will be released on January 30.
