The Evil Within's first DLC: The assignment set for 2015

The Evil Within is a survival horror video game, released this year on the 14th of October. The game has been quite a success and now, Bethesda has revealed that The Evil Within's first DLC, The Assignment, will be released in early 2015.

A total of three DLCs will be made available next year. The first two will depict the story of Detective Castellanos’ partner, Juli Kidman. The Assignment is the first part of the story while part two will be called The Consequence.

The final DLC is named after and features antagonist The Keeper. While an early 2015 release for the first DLC pack has been confirmed, the remaining two will be released later in the year. Tango Gameworks’ game director John Johanas has cited that The Evil Within’s downloadable content "may or may not" have been influenced by DLCs such as Dishonored: The Brigmore Witches, Enslaved: Pigsy’s Perfect 10 and Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare.

The Assignment, The Consequence, and The Keeper will be available as part of the Evil Within Season Pass. for $20 on Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PC.
