“The Order 1886”, the latest action adventure title from developers Ready At Dawn’s is set to release on February 20th next year. This game will only be available for the PS4 as of now. The single player game uses Read At Daw’s new RAD Engine 4.0 and will run at a remarkable 30 frames per second. The game intends to introduce players to a “unique vision of Victorian-Era London”.
In the game you will play as Sir Galahad, a member of an elite order of Knights who uses the advanced technology at his disposal to battle an ancient foe in a centuries-old war that will determine the course of history. Sir Galahad is "an expert tracker and hunter whose instincts and skills, developed over the years fighting Half-breeds, are legendary among members of The Order”. He is “jaded and numb” as a result of the violence he witnesses every day and is “world-weary with a calm, cool, professional demeanour,".
Other characters include Sir Perceval/Sebastien Malory, Lady Igraine/Isabeau D’Argyll and Marques de Lafayette. Players will also have a wide range of weapons to choose from such as fire bolts, Arc Gun TS-23 resonant, Circuit Arc Induction Lance, Essex M86/FL thermite rifle and many more. There will also be various tools to choose from like a monocular and a communicator.
The game has a very cool Victorian era steam punk vibe to it and with an interesting and sophisticated sounding character like Sir Galahad, it definitely is going to be a game to look out for next year.
