Battlefield Hardline Veterans will be getting a special Veterans pack

Owners of the previous Battlefield titles will be receiving an exclusive Battlefield Hardline Reward, according to a recent announcement by EA. These veteran players will be awarded with a special Veterans Pack, which will be available once the game launches. To be classified as a veteran, players will need to have either  Battlefield: Bad Company 2, Battlefield 3, or Battlefield 4 assigined to their Origin account.

The main focus of the pack is to help veterans unlock a few in-game features a bit quicker than non-vet players. Though new players need not fret, as the pack will not include any new exclusive content. Instead, the pack aims to reward returning players without rewarding them with exclusive weaponry that new players cannot unlock.

The Veteran Pack includes the following:

  • One in-game Veteran’s Patch
  • One 200% Objective Boost (active for 30 minutes once activated)
  • One 200% Teamplay Boost (active for 30 minutes once activated)

EA stated the following regarding the Veterans Pack: “Naturally, we’re thrilled about those who will make Battlefield Hardline their first Battlefield game. But we also feel we want to give you Battlefield veterans out there something special.” Players will be awarded one Veteran Pack per Origin account, so be sure to use the 30 minute long boosts wisely.

Battlefield Hardline is slated to release on March 17th for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PC. You can check out the PC requirements for the game here.
