Xbox Live Gold members will have some great new games to look forward to this New Year. Gold subscribers will be able to download three new games for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. These will include The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings, D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die and MX vs ATV Alive.
D4 will be available for download on the Xbox One throughout the month January. The Access Games title is an episodic murder mystery which focuses on a private investigator, David Young, who uses his time travelling ability to undo the past and solve his wife’s murder. The game released earlier this year to favourable reviews.
MX vs ATV Alive will be available for download on the Xbox 360 from January 1-15. The critically acclaimed The Witcher 2: Assassins of Kings will also be available for the Xbox 360 from January 16-31.
The Games with Gold line-up this January seems like a pretty good deal and a great start to the New Year. It’s definitely a step up from Microsoft’s previous Games with Gold line up which seemed far weaker compared to Sony’s Instant Game Collection.
It’s also a great time for players who have not tried the Witcher games to finally do so before the highly anticipated release of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt later next year in May.
