EPL Transfer News: July 27th 2011

It’s a Wednesday and we got as usual transfer nonsense from the papers and the online world, so let’s just get it off and kicking today.

Mexican Prodigy to sign deal with Liverpool FC

Touted as the ‘New Javier Hernandez’, Marco Bueno has a huge reputation to live up to there. According to The Daily Mail, “Mexico U17 striker Marco Bueno is set to arrive at Liverpool next month with a view to signing a five-year contract.” According to reports from Spain, they say that the Reds are likely to pay £150,000 up front for the striker with a further £350,000 of potential add-ons, plus a 15 per cent sell-on fee.

Sergio Aguero to Manchester City Imminent

Forget about Carlos Tevez for now, Aguero is heading to Manchester City no matter where Carlos Tevez is next season, so here’s a line from The Independent:

Striker Sergio Aguero is expected in England on Wednesday morning for talks with Manchester City to finalise his £38m transfer from Atletico Madrid.

Swift.

Arsenal Want (Another) Diamond in the Rough

Arsenal are monitoring Anderlecht midfielder Lucas Biglia’s availability and could submit a bid for the Argentine before the end of the month.

Metro

Well, I’ve never heard of Biglia, so I am definitely not assuming that this is the man touted to replace Cesc Fabregas in this coming transfer window. And the fact is, this guy ain’t a youngster, he’s 25 years of age.

Mysterious.

Vucinic to Manchester United?

It looks quite likely, because his agent has apparently met with Manchester United officials, but indications do seem to point to him potentially signing for the Red Devils sometime soon, I will update you guys on this tomorrow, should there be any new developments.
