The annual sports festival of Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) Athlos 2014 was kicked off with X-Enable on the 10th of October. X-Enable is a concept jointly developed by the Sports Committee and the Social Responsibility Cell of XIMB to promote the culture of sports among the differently able children. Kids from NGO "Aaina" participated in sports and a few other fun activities.

XIMB has always been active on the social front and this event further validated the claim. The event was launched with a cake cutting ceremony by the participants in the presence of the entire college. The atmosphere was one of celebration and it set the mood right for the upcoming events. This was followed by the lemon race which saw the enthusiastic participation of the kinds and witnessed the applauds by the students. The next game was throw ball followed by musical chair, both of which were truly enjoyed by the participants and the students alike. Other than these outdoor games, some indoor games were also organized which included carom, chess etc. and witnessed much enthusiasm.

The event concluded with the distribution of prizes to the winners. The smiles of the winners as well as the other participants gave much joy to the organizing committee and set the stage for the upcoming 2 days of the sports meet. With this, XIMB successfully moved forward in its endeavor to reach out and give back to the society.
