The 2025 Meijer LPGA Classic wrapped up with its second round on Friday, June 13. The tournament had a cutline after 36 holes, and some big names struggled with their game, even failing to make the cut.

After two rounds, Hye Jon Choi tied for the lead with Carlota Ciganda, Celine Boutier, and Karis Davidson. Lexi Thompson and Minjee Lee also had impressive outings this week and secured a position in the top-10 following the first two rounds.

However, some players, such as Jin Young Ko and Leona Maguire, had a tough time on the greens and even struggled to make the cut. Below are the five golfers who failed to make the cut at the 2025 Meijer LPGA Classic.

#1 Jin Young Ko

Jin Young Ko started her game at the Meijer LPGA Classic on the tenth tee hole on Thursday. However, she had a tough time in the opening round. Young Ko made a birdie, two bogeys, and also an eagle on the front nine, while on the back, she made two bogeys for a total of 1-over 73.

She also struggled in the second round, making three birdies and two bogeys for a round of even-par 71. She eventually missed the cut by just one stroke.

#2 Leona Maguire

Leona Maguire also had a rough time at the 2025 Meijer LPGA Classic. She carded an opening round score of 72 and then struggled in the second round of the tournament. Maguire made four birdies, two bogeys, and a double bogey for an even-par opening round. In the second round, she added three birdies but also carded four bogeys, finishing with a 1-over 73 score.

#3 Danielle Kang

Danielle Kang had a decent start to her game at the 2025 Meijer LPGA Classic. She started on the first tee hole and made two birdies and a bogey in the opening round for 1-under 71.

However, after a decent start, she struggled in the second round of the tournament. She started the second round on the 10th and made par on the first two holes before adding a birdie on the 12th. On the back nine, she carded three bogeys, two birdies, and two double bogeys for 3-over 76.

#4 Linn Grant

Linn Grant also had a tough time on the greens at the 2025 Meijer LPGA Classic. She made a birdie and a bogey in the first round of the tournament for an even-par 72.

In the second round, Grant started on the tenth and made three back-to-back bogeys from 11th to 13th and then a birdie on the 14th. On the back nine, she added two birdies and four more bogeys for a 4-over 76. Her struggles in the second round resulted in her failing to make the cut.

#5 Lilia Vu

Lilia Vu had a pretty tough time playing at the 2025 Meijer LPGA Classic in the opening round of the event. She started on the tenth and made a bogey on the 13th along with two birdies and a double bogey. Meanwhile, on the back nine, she made four more bogeys for a round of 77. In the second round, she carded four bogeys and one birdie for a round of 75 and hence, missed the cut.
