82-time PGA Tour winner Tiger Woods was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida in 2017 for driving under the influence. Woods was found unconscious in his damaged Mercedes car about 15 miles away from his home. His Mercedes was parked unusually on a road with the engine running, which prompted the officer's inspection.

A toxicology report showed that Woods was under the influence of five drugs at the time: Hydrocodone (Vicodin), Hydromorphone (Dilaudid), Alprazolam (Xanax), Zolpidem (Ambien), and Delta-9 carboxy THC (Marijuana).

Tiger Woods pleaded guilty at the hearing and agreed to join a diversion program as part of a plea agreement. The plea agreement consisted of 50 hours of community service, a year on probation, a $250 fine, court charges, regular drug tests, and driving under the influence offender program.

Scottie Scheffler was arrested in Louisville, Kentucky, ahead of the second round of the 2024 PGA Championship outside of the venue - Valhalla Golf Club. Scheffler was charged with second-degree assault of a police officer, third-degree criminal mischief, reckless driving, and disregard of signals from officers directing traffic.

An accident earlier in the morning involving a shuttle bus collision resulted in the death of a pedestrian causing police officials to be on high alert and increase surveillance. A statement released by the PGA of America reveals that the pedestrian was a crew member of the PGA Championship's vendor.

World No. 1 Scottie Scheffler was on his way to Valhalla Golf Club to warm up to tee off the second round of the 2024 PGA Championship. A backlog of traffic prompted the new father Scheffler to take a median road to reach Valhalla.

When asked by officers to stop, Scheffler attempted to drive past the police until an officer attached himself to his car, screaming at him to stop. As Scottie Scheffler stopped the vehicle, he was pinned against his car, placed in handcuffs and detained in a police car. The 27-year-old was then taken to Jefferson County.

As of now, Scottie Scheffler's been released from the Louisville Metropolitan Department of Corrections and will play in the second round of the 2024 PGA Championship.

In 2007, Daly and his third wife Sherrie Miller had gotten into a spat in Tennessee where Daly was due to play the Stanford St. Jude Championship that week. After claims of his wife attacking him with a steak knife, Daly arrived at the tournament with bruises and cuts all over, which prompted the authorities to investigate.

Before officials arrived at their home, she had run away with their son John Patrick Daly II, who is also a gifted golfer. She was later sentenced to prison as John Daly was given custody of his child.
