5 LIV Golfers to watch at the US Open 2025 ft. Jon Rahm

The US Open is the third major and the next PGA Tour stop in the 2025 roster. The tournament is scheduled from June 12 to 15 at the Oakmont Country Club, which will give a tough competition to the golfers with its 13 Church Pews between the 3rd and 4th fairway.

The field is stacked with popular golfers like Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele, Collin Morikawa, Ludvig Aberg, Tony Finau and more. The 156-player field also welcomed 14 LIV golfers, and here's a look at the five LIV golfers to watch at the major:

5 LIV golfers to watch at the 2025 US Open

#1. Jon Rahm

Jon Rahm didn't play at the US Open last year, and in 2023, he finished in T10 at the US Open with a 3-under. He finished in T12 at the 2022 US Open with 1-over, and in 2021, he won the US Open with 6-under. In 2020, Rahm finished in T23 in the tournament.

This year, Rahm had a top 10 finish at the PGA Championship with a T8 after scoring 4-under.

#2. Bryson DeChambeau

Bryson DeChambeau won the US Open in 2024 with a score of 6-under. Before that, he finished in T20 at the 2023 US Open and T56 at the 2022 US Open with 1-over and 13-over, respectively. In 2021, DeChambeau finished in T26, and in 2020, he won the major tournament.

This year, DeChambeau finished in T2 at the PGA Championship and T5 at the Masters Tournament.

#3. Brooks Koepka

Brooks Koepka landed in T26 at the 2024 US Open with a 6-over. Before that, he finished in T17 and 55th place at the 2023 and 2022 US Open editions, respectively.

This year, Koepka's performance faltered, and he failed to make the cut line at the Masters Tournament and the PGA Championship.

#4. Phil Mickelson

Phil Mickelson failed to make the cut line at the 2024 US Open after shooting 79 and 76 over the first two rounds. The Lefty missed the cutline at the 2023 and 2022 US Open editions as well. His best finish at the US Open came as a 2nd-place/T2 finish at the 1999, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2009, and 2013 US Open editions.

This year, the player missed cutlines at the Masters Tournament and the PGA Championship. He had three top 10 finishes in the LIV League, including a T3 at the LIV Golf Hong Kong.

#5. Dustin Johnson

Dustin Johnson missed the cutline at last year's US Open, but he finished in T10 at the 2023 US Open with 3-under. In 2022, He finished in T24 with a total score of 4-over.

This year, Johnson failed to make the cutline at the Masters and the PGA Championship. His best finish in 2025 came at the LIV Golf Singapore with a T5 after shooting 63-68-73 over the three rounds.
