5 Rookies to watch out for on the Professional Golf Tour of India in 2017

The Delhi golfer finished in the top-10 of the IGU merit list in 2016 and successfully qualified for the 2017 season of the PGTI by finishing in the top-5 in the final stage of the Q-school.

Shubham began playing the sport in 2010 alongside Shubhankar Sharma, the Asian Tour player, and has never looked back since. Receiving added encouragement from his family and coach, Jesse Grewal has spurred him on to work hard towards his goals every year.

The 18 year old won in Hyderabad on the Indian Golf Union Gentleman’s tour in 2016 and is making his professional debut this week at Noida Golf course. He has shown promising signs of things to come in the last two years having represented the Indian national team at several events abroad.
