Godrej Properties set to host season six of Godrej Properties Golf Challenge
The tournament will follow the Stableford Points System across two handicap categories: 0-12 & 13-24 (3/4 Nett Stableford Points)
Godrej Properties Ltd. (GPL) (BSE scrip id: GODREJPRP), one of India’s leading real estate developers, is set to host the sixth edition of the Godrej Properties Golf Challenge (GPGC). This year’s edition tees off at Noida Golf Club on Saturday, November 26th, in what will be the first of the two legs that will be held in the National Capital Region (NCR).
The tournament will consist of six city rounds, and will once again see a round taking place at Ahmedabad which was included for the first time last year. The tournament will culminate in an International Finals showdown in Bangkok, where the respective winners from each city will ‘Swing For Glory’.
In a sign of the event’s burgeoning popularity, season six of the GPGC is set to witness a total participation of over 1000 golfers. The Kalhaar Golf Course in Ahmedabad will stage round two on 3rd December, followed by the third round at the Oxford Golf and Country Club in Pune on 10th December.
‘Driving’ towards the latter half of the tournament, round four would take place at the golfers’ favourite Willingdon Sports Club in Mumbai. At the turn of the New Year, the penultimate city round would take place at the Bangalore Golf Club in Bengaluru on 6th January, and the sixth and final round would take place at Classic Golf Course in Gurgaon on 14th January.
The tournament will follow the Stableford Points System across two handicap categories: 0-12 & 13-24 (3/4 Nett Stableford Points). Any member of a participating club can play in the tournament provided they have a valid handicap from that club. The golfer with best gross score from each city will qualify for the International Finals scheduled to take place in the last week of January 2017 at Bangkok, Thailand.
