In pics: Nelly Korda celebrates Croatia vacation as best friend posts heartwarming photos on LPGA #1’s birthday

Nelly Korda finished tied for 26th place at the 2024 Amundi Evian Championship last week. She shot scores of 69, 72, 70, and 68 to total five under par 279 over the four days at the Evian Les Bains course in France.

The LPGA Tour star has held her place as the world's number one professional golfer on the Rolex World Rankings since March 25, 2024. Having recorded an incredible six wins in 12 events this year, Korda's hardwork has definitely paid off. The 26-year-old recently jetted off to Croatia with two of her closest friends to blow off some steam on a much deserved break.

Born on July 28, 1998, Nelly Korda is celebrating her 26th birthday ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics. One of her friends from her trip, Klara Mrcela, took to Instagram to share snaps of Korda on the special occassion. Nelly Korda also shared snaps of her on vacation with her 983,000 followers on Instagram. The world number one golfer stunned in a blue bikini with sunglasses on. Korda and her friends explored Croatia together on a yacht. Along with a camera roll dump of her trip, she also shared a video of her diving into the tranquil waters of Croatia.

Nelly Korda LPGA Tour wins and majors record explored

Following her much deserved vacation in Croatia, Nelly Korda decided to sit out this week's CPKC Women's Open to catch up on rest and prepare well for the 2024 Paris Olympics. As the world's number one player, Korda is set to contend for the gold medal following her incredible show in Tokyo in 2021.

With Korda's incredible record, she is expected to be in contention in Paris. She bears 14 LPGA Tour titles to her name, and has also won two major championship titles - the 2021 KPMG Women's PGA Championship and the 2024 Chevron Championship.
