Lloyd Business Today Pro-Am golf reaches Kolkata
The Kolkata-leg of the championship will start on February 20 at the Tollygunge Club
Golfers from the city will converge on the fairway of Tollygunge Club tomorrow, 20th February 2016 in Kolkata. Lloyd Business Today Pro-Am of Champions, popularly known as India’s Most Prestigious Corporate Golf Tournaments is all set to enthrall its fans.
The championship after being held in major 5 Indian cities is now ready to rock the Tollygunge sports Club with high profile corporate participants. This year the championship is celebrating 20th year and it is getting bigger and exciting.
This prestigious corporate golf tournament is specially designed for the bigwigs like CEOs and corporate heads and they are gearing up with jet speed! The event will showcase some of the best amateur golfers in India, making it exhilarating for the players as well as for the spectators. It will be a memorable showdown of golfing brilliance
Now into its 20th year, the tournament is played across 4 regions and culminates with the national finals in Delhi.
The regional rounds have the top corporate decision-makers compete with one another at some of India's finest golf courses. The full field is divided into 3 handicap categories and the highest scoring individuals from each category participate in the finals at Delhi in the Pro-Am round, where some of the finest professionals and amateur Women Golfers will team up with the corporate golfers.
The Winning Team gets to compete in the pro-am in Delhi. They will compete against the other city winners to win the Inter-city Event and trophy.
The tournament is co- sponsored by LLOYD Electric & Engineering and other well-wishers like S-Cross, the ‘Driven By’ sponsor; Nautica, the Style partner; Ballantine, Beverage partner; 4moles, the Digital Partner and Creatigies, the Marketing Partner of the event, will see participation by about 100 golfers, followed by prize distribution and a lunch at Tollygunge Club.
The final round of the tournament will be played over two days in Delhi in March 2016.
