The LPGA Tour heads to Utah this week for the inaugural Black Desert Championship 2025. The first-ever edition of the women’s event will be played from Thursday, May 1, to Sunday, May 4, at Black Desert Resort’s Greater Zion Club in Ivins, Utah.
The Black Desert Championship 2025 field will not feature stars like Nelly Korda or Lydia Ko, as the event will take place just days after the Chevron Championship. However, Ruoning Yin, Haeran Ryu, Charley Hull, Ayaka Furue, Lilia Vu, and Chevron Championship winner Mao Saigo will be present this week.
According to bet365 odds, Haeran Ryu and Minjee Lee are the favorites to win the inaugural Black Desert Championship. A Lim Kim, Charley Hull, and Ruoning Yin are also among the top contenders. Interestingly, Mao Saigo is not a top favorite despite arriving fresh off a major victory.
