Lydia Ko to play in the Scottish Open next week

Lydia Ko continued her dominant form, clinching the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics with a final round score of one-under-par 71. The LPGA Tour star defeated Germany's Esther Henseleit and China's Xiyu Janet Lin, securing the top spot for New Zealand.

Ko's incredible performance this week at the Le Golf National Course has left fans worldwide inspired. Not only did she capture the gold medal, but she has also accomplished one of the rarest feats in sport. Having earned a silver medal at the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics and a bronze medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, the 27-year-old has now completed the trifecta.

The three-time Olympic medalist will tee it up next at the 2024 Women's Scottish Open. Ko will take on the par-72 Dundonald Links course from August 15 to 18, vying for a share of the $2 million purse.
