The Masters 2023 is already making headlines after the officials of the tournament announced that 17 LIV golfers will also be participating in the event, including Cameron Smith.

Smith, who is currently signed with LIV Golf, earlier played on the PGA Tour. In the 2022 Masters, he finished tied for third position on the leaderboard. His best performance came in the 2020 edition of the tournament, where he finished as tied runner-up with Im Sung-Jae to Dustin Johnson.


Cameron Smith's all Masters finishes and performances at Augusta

Since turning professional in 2013, Smith has competed in six Masters events so far. His first Masters tournament was in 2016, where he finished 55th in the rankings.

Since his first appearance at Augusta National, he has only missed the 2017 Masters. Otherwise, he has been a regular participant for the last five years.


2016 Masters

Cameron Smith earned his first invite to the Masters tournament in 2016. Being a rookie in the competition, he finished in a tied 55th position on the leaderboards. This is also considered to be the worst Masters of Smith's life till now.


2018 Masters

Cameron Smith had to miss out on the 2017 Masters because of being unable to meet the qualification criteria.

However, he did return to Augusta National Golf Club in 2018. He finished in the tied fifth ranking on the leaderboard. The performance was lauded by several veterans and experts.


2019 Masters

Smith participated in his second consecutive Masters in 2019. This was his second-worst outing at the Augusta National Golf Club. He scored over 2 and was ranked 55th in the tie.


2020 Masters

Finally, came the year that made Cameron Smith believe he could win the green jacket. This was Smith's best Masters performance for Smith as he ranked tied for second with a score of -69.


2021 Masters

Cameron Smith qualified for his fourth Masters tournament in 2021. This tournament was certainly fruitful for him as he took home $299,000. He ranked in tied 10th position with a score of par under 3.


2022 Masters

The fifth consecutive and last edition of the Masters that Cameron Smith attended was the 2022 Masters. He participated and ranked tied 3rd with a score of par under 5.
