Former No. 1 and former Masters Champion Dustin Johnson is set to make his 13th appearance at the Masters 2023.

Despite the PGA suspending all LIV rebel players from further participating in their major events, 17 rebels got an invite from Augusta Masters to compete at the 87th edition.

In the previous 12 appearances, Johnson has won the prestigious jacket once, and that came in 2020, which also happens to be his best finish at the Masters. Other than winning, he has finished in the top 10 four times till now.

The former Masters champion first appeared in 2009's tournament. He has only missed the event twice since then, once in 2012 and again in 2017. Both times, he was forced to withdraw due to back injuries.

#1 2020 Masters

Dustin Johnson's best performance was no doubt his win in the 2020 Masters. Just a year before he finished as a runner-up to Tiger Woods in 2019, he won the tournament by five strokes with a course record of 20 under par for a total of 268.

Tiger Woods and Jordan Spieth shared the prior record which they achieved in 1997 and 2015, respectively. He was rewarded with a massive amount of $2,070,000.


#2 2019 Masters

Dustin Johnson, before winning the tournament, also finished as a runner-up once in 2019. It was his sheer confidence and hard work that helped him win the Masters in 2020. He finished with a score of par under 12.


#3 2016 Masters

Dustin Johnson has maintained a great ranking in the OWGR throughout his career at the PGA. It was proven by the fact that he qualified for all the Masters events since 2009.

In the 2016 Masters, he had his third-best finish at the prestigious tournament. He had a score of under 1 and finished in tied fourth place on the leaderboard.

#4 2015 Masters

The 2015 Masters could be seen as the beginning of Johnson's journey to winning the prestigious green jacket.

This was the first time since 2009 that Johnson finished in the top 10 at Augusta National Golf Club. He finished tied for sixth place with a score of 9 under.


#5 2018 Masters

After missing Masters in 2017 due to a back injury, Dustin Johnson again received an invitation to participate in the 2018 tournament.

He did participate this time and finished in the tied tenth position with a score of 7 under. He also earned a whopping $286,000.

The LIV golfer is slated to play in Round 1 with Corey Conners and Justin Rose on April 6 at 1.12 PM. Fans can watch him play on ESPN's TV channel from 3.00 PM to 5.00 PM.
