Day 2 of the 2024 BMW Championship ended with Adam Scott in the lead. The 44-year-old golfer shot a 9-under 63 at Castle Pines Golf Club on Friday, August 23. The veteran Aussie golfer ended up with a three-shot lead over Day 1 leader Keegan Bradley.
Round 3 of the BMW Championship will begin at 7:20 am ET with Max Greyserman on the first tee. The pairing of Max Homa and Davis Thompson will follow suit at 7:30 am, while Jason Day and Justin Thomas will follow them at 7:40 am.
Round 2 leader Scott will enjoy the late tee off at 11:35 pm alongside Bradley. They will follow third-placed Ludvig Aberg and fourth-placed Alex Noren teeing up at 11:25 am. Solo fifth Taylor Pendrith and T6 Corey Conners tee off before them at 11:15 am.
Notably, event favorite and Players of the Year competition leaders Xander Schauffele and Scottie Scheffler sat T23 and T29, respectively. Scheffler, who had a meltdown on the greens on Day 2, tees off at 8:55 am alongside Adam Hadwin. Meanwhile, Schauffele will hit the tee at 9:15 am with Cam Davis.

It is pertinent to note that the BMW Championship doesn’t have the traditional 36-hole cut and all golfers who played on Friday have advanced to the weekend. The final leaderboard of the $20 million event will decide on the final FedExCup points table.
The top 30 golfers on the table after the BMW Championship’s completion will proceed to next weekend’s Tour Championship.
