2024 BMW Ladies Championship round 2 suspended. Provisional leaderboard explored

The second round of the 2024 BMW Ladies Championship couldn't finish as scheduled due to rain. None of the players were able to end their day, although all were able to start.

According to an update posted on the X (formerly Twitter) LPGA Media account, the second round of the BMW Ladies Championship will resume at 8:00 a.m. Saturday local time/ 7:00 p.m. Friday E.T. Players will not regroup at the end of the round, but will immediately begin the third round.

Hannah Green continues to hold the provisional lead in the BMW Ladies Championship. The Australian is on -12 after playing the 9th hole of the second round.

Hannah Green carded four birdies and had a bogey-free front nine in the second round of the BMW Ladies Championship to become the solo leader. Last day's co-leader Ashleigh Buhai is now second and will play the ninth hole.

Lydia Ko was left to play the 13th hole in a round that has seen her climb eight places on the leaderboard to move into a three-way tie for third. Ko made three birdies without a bogey in the second round and has now played 31 holes without a bogey in the 2024 BMW Ladies Championship.

Ruixin Liu is making the most impressive climb of the second round, as she has moved up 32 to T7. The Chinese player was left playing the 16th hole and so far has five birdies and no bogeys.
