2024 CPKC Women’s Open prize money payout: How much did Lauren Coughlin win from the $2,600,000 purse?

Lauren Coughlin won the 2024 CPKC Women’s Open on Sunday. The 31-year-old earned her first career win in her 103rd start on the LPGA Tour. The golfer, who didn't earn a full-time card until 2022, finished at 13-under 275 to take a two-stroke victory over Mao Saigo at the Earl Grey Golf Club.

Making her first start since the Amundi Evian Championship in France, Coughlin entered an unexpected three-way tie with Ryu and Saigo at some point. However, a misstep from Ryu on the 16th gave the eventual champion a chance to seize the lead.

Coughlin closed with a 1-under 71 to bag the $390,000 winner’s paycheck from the CPKC Women’s Open’s $2,600,000 prize purse. She has now earned $1,542,352 this season. Her career earnings amass to $2,409,549.

Notably, the first-time winner also became the third consecutive player to become a Rolex First-Time Winner at the Canadian event after Megan Khang (2023) and Paula Reto (2022) and the third Rolex First-Time Winner of the 2024 LPGA season after Bailey Tardy and Linnea Strom.

While Coughlin bagged the major share of the CPKC Women’s Open $2,600,000 prize purse, Mao Saigo took home $243,859 for finishing runner-up. Haeran Ryu and Jenny Shin won $276,000 each for finishing third, while Jennifer Kupcho got $110,147 for sitting fifth.

Nataliya Guseva and Rose Zhang bagged $82,777 each for sharing T6, while Brooke Henderson, Lydia Ko, Alison Lee and Nanna Koerstz Madsen returned home with $135,000 each for finishing T8. Notably, Emily Kristine Pedersen and Savannah Grewal finished last on the CPKC Women’s Open leaderboard. They flew out with $5,808 in the bank.
