2024 Genesis Scottish Open Round 2 tee times and pairings explored

Day 1 of the 2024 Genesis Scottish Open ended with Justin Thomas in the lead. The 31-year-old golfer shot an 8-under 62 to take the early lead in the competition over the likes of Sungjae Im and Ludvig Aberg. Notably, this is Thomas’ lowest opening round on the PGA Tour since his 59 in the Sony Open in Hawaii seven years ago.

Round 2 of the Genesis Scottish Open will begin at 2:00 AM ET on Friday, July 12, with Samuel Stevens, Nick Bachem, and Alex Fitzpatrick taking the first tee. The pairing of Chandler Phillips, Alexander Björk, and Julien Guerrier will follow suit at 2:11 AM, while Luke List, Matthew Southgate, and Daniel Hillier follow them at 2:22 AM.

Scottish Open leader Thomas will continue the campaign at 3:17 AM on Friday. Nicolai Højgaard and Ryan Fox will join him. The group will follow the pairing of Brian Harman, Sepp Straka, and Matteo Manassero, teeing off at 3:06 AM.

Event favorite Rory McIlroy sat T9 on the Scottish Open leaderboard after the opening round. He will resume his campaign at 8:43 AM alongside Robert Macintyre and Viktor Hovland. The pairing of Xander Schauffele, Wyndham Clark, and Tommy Fleetwood will follow them at 8:54 AM ET.

It is pertinent to note that the Scottish Open has the traditional 36-hole Friday cut.
