2024 Wyndham Championship: New starting time and Latest Tee times for Round 1 after tropical Storm Debby delays event

The 2024 Wyndham Championship will finally get underway at the Sedgefield Country Club, North Carolina. The tournament got postponed by one day after tropical Storm Debby caused dangerous playing conditions.

After initially delaying the Wyndham Championship, the tournament was postponed to Friday after thunderstorms ailed the course. Now, the tournament will begin at 9:50 am ET and might see a 36-hole day on Sunday.

The Wyndham Championship marks the final tournament of the PGA Tour season, ahead of the 2024 FedEx Cup playoffs. The top 70 players in the FedEx rankings at the end of the Wyndham Championship will make it into the post-season playoff. Therefore, this tournament becomes crucial for several golfers who are on the cusp of making or missing out on the playoffs.

Some notable groups to watch out for during round 1 of the Wyndham Championship will be Justin Rose, Will Zalatoris, and Jordan Spieth (10:23 am ET). Shane Lowry, Akshay Bhatia, and Sungjae Im are another group to watch out for (10:34 am ET).
