2025 PGA Championship Quail Hollow: How to register and buy tickets

As the 2024 PGA Championship goes into the final day, fans are already excited for next year's edition. Next year's edition will be played at the Quail Hollow Golf Club in North Carolina from May 15-18, with fans eagerly waiting to buy the tickets.

To buy the tickets for the 2025 PGA Championship, one can register for the PGA of America's Ticket Registry. By registering, fans can book their place and get a preference when the ticket sales officially begin in July.

It is imperative to note that registering doesn't guarantee tickets. But filling out the online form with their contact details will give fans a notification when the ticket window opens.

Since this is a Major championship, the ticket demand for this tournament is going to be high. Hence, registering now is the best possible chance to get tickets for the Quail Hollow event next year.

Due to high demand, each individual and email address can only be registered once. However, after all the registered people have had the opportunity to buy tickets, the remaining tickets will be available for the non-registered fans to purchase and enter Quail Hollow.

Quail Hollow is also the annual host for one of the most prestigious tournaments on the Tour, the Wells Fargo Championship. Additionally, it has hosted the 2017 PGA Championship, where Justin Thomas managed to lift his first Major Championship.

Fans should have extra motivation to buy tickets for the 2025 Championship as Rory McIlroy has enjoyed playing on this course with four victories at Quail Hollow in his career so far. Mcllroy also holds the course record as he shot 61 on the final day of the 2015 Wells Fargo Championship to emerge victorious.

Quail Hollow is a challenging golf course, with 7538 yards par 71. The course was designed by George Cobb, with the modification of a couple of holes recently to make the course slightly more challenging.

The course contains Bermudagrass/OverseededRaygrass on both the fairways and rough. The greens also have Bermudagrass, which encourages fast and hard greens, perfectly suited for a Major championship tournament.

History and past winners of the PGA Championship

The PGA Championship is one of the four Major championships of golf. This Major event is played between the Masters and the U.S. Open. Started in 1916, this tournament was a match-play event until 1957, after which they changed it to a normal stroke-play event.

Walter Hagen and Jack Nicklaus have won this tournament five times, the most wins by any player, followed by Tiger Woods with four trophies. Brooks Koepka has won this tournament thrice and will be hopeful of equalling Woods' four Wanamaker trophies soon.
