The Amundi Evian Championship has a purse of $8 million and the winner will receive $1.5 million. The field for the Major is star-studded as nine of the 10 LPGA Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings will compete. In 2023, France’s Celine Boutier became the first Frenchwoman to win the Championship. She'll look to repeat the feat in her home country this year.

Here is a list of the top 5 golfers to watch out for at the Amundi Evian Championship 2024:

#1 Nelly Korda

Nelly Korda, the World No. 1, is back on the golf course after missing the LET's event in London. She had updated her friend that she was bitten by a dog and had to withdraw from the event.

After a sensational start to the year, Korda has missed cuts in three consecutive events. She missed the cut in two of the Majors, the US Women's Open and the KPMG Women's PGA Championship.

However, Korda would be eying to regain her form and add a third career Major win to her bag. Korda won the first Major of the year, the Chevron Championship with a two-stroke victory over Maja Stark.

#2 Celine Boutier

Last year, Celine Boutier became the first Frenchwoman to win the title with a margin of six strokes over Brooke Henderson. She then said (via LPGA):

"Honestly, it has been my biggest dream since I started watching golf."

The victory at the Major was one of Boutier's four wins last year. However, the World No. 6 has seen a dip in form as she has been able to register just one top-10 finish and six top-25 finishes this year. She will come to the event after a T19 finish at the KPMG Women's PGA Championship.
