Abraham Ancer recently participated in the third annual FORE Kids ATX charity golf tournament. LIV Golfer Sergio Garcia and his wife Angela hosted the two-day event at the Fazio Foothills Golf Course at Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Barton Creek, Texas from November 1 to 2, 2024.
American TV host Chris Harrison, who is worth $20 million as per Celebrity Net Worth, also teed up at the charity event. He was joined by golfer Nick Watney, US Amateur champion Josele Ballester, and David Puig Corrius.
Ancer is a member of Fireballs GC, a LIV Golf team captained by Garcia. The team finished sixth this year. Ancer was also joined by Ethan Diamond, a cast member of MTV's Perfect Match and Netflix's Are You The One, who posted an Instagram Story with Ancer and wrote:
"Another Legend. Abraham Ancer has more hole-in-ones than I have fingers. Need I say more."
Abraham Ancer reposted the Story on his Instagram profile. Harrison, popularly known for hosting the dating show "The Bachelor" also shared an Instagram Story with Ancer and wrote:
"Teeing it up with some of the best @forekids_atx"
The charity event started at the Four Seasons Hotel, Austin, at 6:00 PM on Friday, November 1. It included a cocktail reception, dinner, a special program, and live music with dancing. On the second day, a golf tournament at Fazio Foothills was held.
Talking about the event, Sergio Garcia said (via Golf Magic):
"My family and I are lucky to call Austin, Texas, our home. With our roots firmly planted here in Central Texas, it is truly a blessing to host FORE Kids ATX with Angela for the third year in a row, hopefully reaching even more families in need who also call Texas home."
Talking about the event, Harrison said:
"What a spectacular day. We're here at Omni, the Foothills course. Some of the best golfers in the world and some of the best folks in Austin have come out to support these four foundations that Sergio and Angela feel so passionately about. So it's an honor to be here for another year."
The four foundations for which the money was raised included Dell Children’s Foundation, Save Muny, The Muny Conservancy Austin Youth Golf Academy, and The Ugli Foundation.
As per the FORE Kids ATX website, the two events in 2022 and 2023 have raised over 5 million dollars for the charities.
