Sports journalist Amanda Balionis recently visited Intown Golf Club and enjoyed a day out with her family and friends. She posted several photos and clips from her outing on her Instagram account.
Amanda Balionis is a popular sports broadcaster who covers golf and the NFL for CBS. Besides, she has a strong presence on social media, with over 321K followers.
On Thursday, December 26, Balionis took to Instagram Stories to share highlights from her day at Intown Golf Club. In the first two posts, she and her group are seen entering the club. In the third post, she shares a picture of her friend's daughter carrying a mini golf club bag to the club.

The 38-year-old CBS journalist then gave a sneak peek of the club from the inside.

A look at Amanda Balionis' journey
Amanda Balionis was born on June 20, 1985, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She later moved with her family to Lancaster. It was during her childhood that she first played golf and developed a deep passion for the sport.
In addition to golf, she also played volleyball and swam while growing up. In one of her interviews, she mentioned that she loved playing golf with her family and competed in junior events for a couple of years.
"I played junior golf for a few years," she said, was quoted as saying via Golf Monthly. "My parents loved playing with me, but the minute I had to carry my own bag and walk nine holes by myself, I was like, 'Eh, you know what, I'm gonna go join the swim team.'"
Balionis competed in Division II volleyball at Kutztown University before transferring to Hofstra University in Long Island, New York, where she pursued broadcast journalism in 2008. After graduation, she worked for the PGA Tour before joining Callaway as a digital reporter.
In 2017, Balionis began covering golf for CBS Sports Network and has continued to do so since. She has been part of the Masters broadcast every season since joining the company.
Balionis also runs Puppies and Golf, a charitable organization that raises funds to provide shelters for stray dogs. Recently, she raised over $30,000 to support animals affected by Hurricane Helene in Atlanta and Charlotte.
