Augusta National Chairman Fred Ridley is most likely to upstage Tiger Woods at the 2023 Masters. Woods has confirmed that he will be playing at the tournament, even after struggling with a leg injury.

He developed plantar fasciitis ahead of the 2022 World Hero Challenge and withdrew from the tournament. However, he later played in the television exhibition series The Match and PNC Championship.

Woods has been on hiatus for the past few months and only returned to play at the 2023 Genesis Invitational Open in February. He will play the second tournament of the year at The Masters.

However, ahead of The Masters, Fred Ridley had a press conference in which he talked about LIV Golf players, the potential adoption of small-size golf balls at the 2023 Masters and many other things and fans claimed that he will upstage Woods after considering his bad form.

Fred Ridley had mentioned in most of his interviews that Tiger Woods will only be competing in very few competitions this season.

Can Tiger Woods win The Masters in 2023?

Five-time Masters winner Tiger Woods will come to Augusta National with odds of 55-1, settling alongside Tyrrell Hatton, Corey Conners, and Bryson DeChambeau. Experts believe it will take a lot from Woods to finish in the top 10 at The Masters.

The field will be graced by Jon Rahm, Scottie Scheffler, and Rory McIlroy, who are playing the best golf of their careers and it will undoubtedly be tough to dethrone them.

Jon Rahm is everyone's favorite and best bet at the 2023 Masters. He has won three PGA Tour events in the last three months and has topped the odds list released by Caesars Sportsbook.
