Golf analyst Brandel Chamblee highlighted the common traits between Tiger Woods and other legendary golfers. The American golf analyst is known for his active presence on social media and for sharing his opinion on golf-related matters. Chamblee enjoys a whopping following of around 262.8K followers on his X account.
On Friday, Brandel Chamblee shared a few pictures of some renowned golfers, including one of Tiger Woods, along with a caption saying:
"Neutral at the top. May not be in vogue, but it’s what the very best have done."
In the comment section of the post, a fan, however, asked about other players. The fan commented:
"Now show DJ, Duval, Azinger, Trevino…"
In response, Chamblee wrote;
"Yes of course, but none of those players are ever argued to be, or could be argued to be, the greatest of all time. That list is Jones, Hogan, Nicklaus and Woods… who all have neutral club face position throughout their swings."
Tiger Woods has won over 100 professional events in his career. However, in the last few years, he has been struggling with his game, and owing to a health issue, he rarely competes in golf events.
Woods' last official PGA Tour event outing was at The Open Championship 2024, however, since then, fans have been anxiously waiting for his return on the greens.
Tiger Woods makes a rare public appearance
While Tiger Woods has been away from the greens for a while, he has recently been spotted cheering for his son, Charlie, in an amateur event. His son has been playing this week at the 2025 Florida Amateur Championship, and during the open round of the event on Thursday, June 5, the 15-time Major winner was seen cheering for him.
Nuclr Golf shared a picture of Tiger Woods sitting in a golf cart at the Florida Amateur Championship on its X (formerly Twitter) account with a caption saying:
"Tiger Woods appeared at a Florida golf course today to watch son Charlie with no boot on his surgically repaired left leg. The procedure occurred on March 11th. @TWlegion Is Tiger set to make another comeback?"
Meanwhile, Charlie Woods had a decent start to his campaign at the 2025 Florida Amateur Championship. He carded the opening round of 74 and then played the second round of 72 to settle in a tie for 31st place after two rounds. Meanwhile, Derek Busby is in the lead on the Amateur Championship.
Arth Sinha settled in a tie for second place with RJ Glod and Thomas Korona, while Joseph Trim settled in fifth place in a tie with Juan Yumar, Lee Poppell, Mike Smith, Matthew Joseph, and Sebastiano Mascia. The tournament is scheduled to have its finale on Sunday, June 8.
