US golfer Brooks Koepka is currently playing at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship. While his wife and model Jena Sims is not in Scotland to cheer for him, she is watching and supporting him from their home.
Sims recently did a Q&A session on her Instagram. Her fans flooded the section with all sorts of questions. One fan asked:
"Do you get more nervous watching Brooks in person or on TV?"
Jena Sims shared a picture of her TV screen to answer the question. The ongoing Alfred Dunhill Links Championship was playing on the TV. She responded and gave an update on how she was feeling seeing Brooks Koepka play at the Kingsbarn Golf Links.
"Depends on how he's playing. Just saw him get thiiiiis close to a hole in 1 so my anxiety spiked"
She finished off her answer with two thunderbolt emojis and tagged the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship and DP World Tour accounts. A large playpen filled with toys, possibly of her and Koepka's son Crew, was also visible in the picture.
"Are you kidding?!" - When Brooks Koepka told Jena Sims he wanted Crew to caddy for him at the par-3
Although Jena Sims is not in Scotland for the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, she has been a regular fixture at Brooks Koepka's golf events. She has even caddied for the golfer a couple of times at the Masters par-3 contest.
This year, however, it was a special moment for the family. The couple debuted its son Crew as he joined Sims at Augusta National. The pair had initially decided to not let Crew caddy until he can walk, however, they altered their plans during their Valentine's Day dinner. Sims said via The New York Post in April 2024:
"It was like a proper date night, we were having wine together, Crew was asleep, and (Brooks) was straight across from me and he was like, 'I think I want Crew to caddie for me this year at the Par 3,' and I was like, 'Are you kidding?!' and I was like, 'Is this going to be his face reveal?' And we both talked it out and we ordered his caddie jumpsuit that night I think."
It was a lovely "full circle" moment for Jena Sims and Brooks Koepka as they had first met at the 2015 Masters. She said:
"It’s so special because Brooks and I met at the Masters so it’s almost full-circle. And now we’re bringing our kid there, which is wild."
Brooks Koepka is currently placed T22 at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship with a 9-under after the culmination of round 2.
