Can Sahith Theegala go back-to-back on the Procore Championship? Odds explored

Sahith Theegala recorded his first PGA Tour career win last year at the Fortinet Championship. The then 25-year-old shot a 4-under 68 for a two-shot victory over the likes of S.H. Kim (68) and Cam Davis (70).

Theegala returns to the Silverado Resort in Napa, California, this weekend to defend his title. The golfer will tee off at the now-rebranded Procore Championship at 7:44 AM ET on Thursday, September 12 alongside two-time champion Max Homa and Wyndham Clark.

He will go up against 143 others at the event but remains the favorite to win the $1,080,000 winner’s paycheck from the event’s $6,000,000 prize purse.

According to SportsLine, Theegala enters the 2024 Procore Championship with +1100 odds.

He's the outright favorite to take the win after coming off a moderate season. Having finished twice as runner-up and eight times in the top 10 in 24 PGA Tour starts, Theegala will be eyeing to bag a big second-ever win this weekend.
