Tiger Woods's TGL team, Jupiter Links, has the longest odds to win the upcoming tech-infused golf league. The 15-time Major winner collaborated with fellow PGA Tour player Rory McIlroy to create the brand-new golf series, which will start in January 2025. The golf series has been in the headlines since its announcement for its unique playing style. TGL tournaments will be held on a virtual golf course at SoFi Center in Palm Beach, Florida unlike regular golf events,

Early tournament odds are out as the series nears its inaugural season, and Woods's team is at the bottom among the six competing teams. According to Caesars Sportsbook, its odds are +600, with only a 14.3% chance of winning the series. Meanwhile, McIlroy's Boston Common Golf team is the top favorite in the early odds, with +350 odds and a 22.2% chance of winning.

The TGL has six teams, each with four players. All teams will compete in five regular events, after which the top four will advance to the playoffs. The TGL series features some of the top names on the PGA Tour, including Ludvig Aberg, Collin Morikawa, Hideki Matsuyama, Xander Schauffele, and Patrick Cantlay.

A look at Tiger Woods’s Jupiter Links players' performance

Tiger Woods’s team comprises Max Homa, Tom Kim, and Kevin Kisner. The team includes players with mixed performances on the PGA Tour this season. Kim and Homa played well throughout the season, while Woods and Kisner faced challenges.

Homa competed in 22 tournaments, making the cutline in 18 of them. He missed only four cuts. Some of his best performances are a T8 at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, T3 at the Masters, and T8 at the Wells Fargo Championship.

Kim also had a notably strong season, finishing as a runner-up twice and narrowly losing in playoffs. He lost to Scottie Scheffler at the 2024 Travelers Championship and Byeong Hun An at the Genesis Championship. Kim also secured a tied fourth-place finish at the RBC Canadian Open.

Woods and Kisner struggled with their game this season. Woods primarily competed in Majors this year, missing three cuts and placing 60th at the Masters. Aside from Majors, he joined the field at the Genesis Invitational but was forced to withdraw after shooting a first-round 72 due to health issues. Kisner also faced challenges on the PGA Tour in 2024. In the 21 events he played, he only made the cutline in five and missed 16 cuts.

While Tiger Woods’s Jupiter Links features players with mixed performances this season, Rory McIlroy's team is the only team in TGL with all four players ranked within the top 20 in the world, making them the experts' favorites to win the series. Boston Common Golf consists of McIlroy (3), Keegan Bradley (12), Adam Scott (19), and Hideki Matsuyama (7). The series will start its first season on January 7, 2025.
