Charley Hull is representing Team Great Britain in the women's golf event at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The venue for the men's golf event, Le Golf National's Albatross Golf Course, is hosting this event, with round three currently underway.

Hull was one of the favorites coming into this week at the 2024 Paris Olympics, but she had a poor campaign in this event. After round three, Hull gave a post-round interview where she revealed the highlight of the day.

The British golfer said she gave golf balls and a GB marker to the kids present in the crowd.

"I like just seeing a lot of young kids out there. I give them a few golf balls and I give them my GB marker away, and it's just nice to see the young kids out there. I like interacting with the crowds," Hull said.

Charley Hull is one of the trending women golfers, as she gained immense popularity during the 2024 US Women's Open. She was captured signing autographs while smoking a cigarette. This went viral across social media and increased the popularity of the 28-year-old golfer.

Charley Hull has a forgettable performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics

The fan-favorite Charley Hull had +2600 odds coming into the women's golf event at the 2024 Paris Olympics. However, she did not justify it as she struggled to get going from day one itself.

Charley began her campaign with a double bogey as she found water on the first shot on day one. She never recovered from this loss as Hull carded seven bogeys to score +9 after round one.

So, it was clear that Hull would need a miracle to get back in contention, and she had a ray of hope as she scored three birdies on the front nine on day two. Unfortunately, she couldn't finish the day well as she carded a bogey and a double bogey on the 16th and 18th hole, respectively.

The 28-year-old golfer had a decent moving day as she concluded her round with five birdies and two bogeys to remain -3 for the day and +5 for the event.

After a bad first round, Charley needed extraordinary rounds to get in contention. Sadly, she could only manage decent rounds and is currently placed in T36 going into the final round at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

New Zealand's Lydia Ko leads the event with a score of -9 and is yet to finish her third round. Team USA's Rose Zhang and Switzerland's Morgane Metraux are placed second at -7 as they gear up for the final round tomorrow.
