English golfer Charley Hull is in contention to break her two-year winless streak at the ongoing Aramco Team Series Riyadh. She has been phenomenal with her game and was atop the leaderboard with an impressive four-stroke lead after the end of her third round on Saturday, November 2.
The LET event is currently underway, and Hull shot a birdie on the 12th hole, which gave her a lead of four strokes. She started the third round two strokes behind Pia Babnik but was phenomenal on the first nine and had a good game on the back nine too.
Charley Hull is now in contention to clinch her first trophy in two years. She last won a tournament at the Volunteers of America Classic in 2022. At the LPGA Tour event, she shot rounds of 67, 64, 71, and 64 to secure a one-stroke win over Chinese golfer Lin Xiyu.

She shot five birdies on the front nine and added an incredible three birdies and a bogey on the back nine. At the time of writing, she is playing at 19-under and holds a four-stroke lead in the game.
Hull started off her campaign at the Aramco Team Series Riyadh with a round of 65 on Thursday, October 31. She shot an eagle, six birdies, and a bogey in the first round, and then a round of 67 with six birdies and a bogey in the second round.
"I feel comfortable on this course" - Charley Hull on the Aramco Series Riyadh venue
During a pre-tournament press conference, Charley Hull opened up about the tournament. She was confident about scoring well at the venue. The 29-year-old shared her thoughts on the golf course and said (via Ladies European Tour):
"It’s a very scorable golf course. It’s good for the confidence because you can make loads of birdies out there. It was very impressive from Alison [Lee] last year, -29 over three rounds. Wow, that was pretty crazy. So I’m looking forward to going out there and trying to make loads of birdies.
“I just love hitting golf shots and love playing golf. I feel comfortable on this course and I enjoy it here in Saudi Arabia. I actually really like the food here a lot as well. I’ve been downtown in Riyadh a few times and it’s really cool. Lots of stuff to do."
Hull maintained confidence in her game and has been playing fairly well this season. The Aramco Team Series Riyadh is a four-day event and will conclude with the finale on Sunday, November 3.
