Charley Hull does not box, but that might change soon. The golfer was gifted a customized, all-blue boxing outfit with her name on it ahead of the AIG Women's Open next month.
Hull spends most of her time on the golf course or in the gym, as her frequent Instagram stories will attest, but she might be able to take up boxing as a cardio activity now that she's got the outfit. Hull routinely runs 5ks and 10ks, so boxing could be right at home for her daily regimen.
The Instagram account of the AIG Women’s Open shared a video, where Hull can be seen being gifted the all-blue outfit.
The outfit is just like what they wear when boxers walk out for their fights. They have that style of jacket, often with a name or something on the back. It's got a hood that is almost always up until they see the crowds.
Then, they remove the jacket and have shorts that have the same name, logo, or other image on them. For male boxers, that's the extent of their outfit for the match.
Hull said of the outfit in the video:
"Oh yeah, these bad boys. Should I put them on now? I can't [shadow box]."
The woman who gifted Hull the outfit, 2020 Tokyo Olympic gold medalist Kellie Anne Harrington, then taught her how to shadow box and trained her a little in the sport. The English golfer, who was standing on a golf course hole while doing all of this, couldn't help but smile and laugh the whole time.
Charley Hull reveals why she began smoking
Charley Hull catapulted out of regular, professional golfer fame and into a new stratosphere when she was seen smoking a cigarette on a golf course while signing autographs.

She quickly became a fan favorite, and her smoking was a big reason for that. She has since given up the habit, but Charley Hull has also now revealed why she began doing it in the first place.
Unsurprisingly, it's down to the fact that she doesn't like slow players. This has remained true even after quitting smoking, but it's why she took it up to begin with. Via Newsweek, she said:
"I found the golf rounds are sometimes way too slow. So, then you kind of, like, lose your momentum, and anything I do in life, I, like, get to be fast and just on the go all the time."
She added:
"That's one reason why I used to smoke, cuz it just used to kill a bit of time. Just, like, relax you. But then I quit about two months ago."
The LPGA Tour star made a $10,000 bet with a friend when she decided to quit smoking, but it turned out to be a pretty easy habit for her to kick, and she's not touched a cigarette since.
