Creator Classic garners over 2 million viewers, #2 on YouTube trending as latest stats come to light

The PGA Tour introduced the Creator Classic tournament this year, where top social media golf creators competed in a 9-hole event. The East Lake Golf Club hosted the event in August, just a day before the PGA Tour season-finale Tour Championship.

The tournament was live streamed on the PGA Tour's YouTube channel and has garnered over 2 million views in four weeks. The sports journalist Josh Carpenter tweeted the latest stats and fan engagement released by the PGA Tour.

The event had 16 golf YouTubers in the field, and fans were excited to watch their favorite golf creators compete at East Lake.

The 2024 Creator Classic was a 9-hole tournament with all 16 golfers competing for eight holes, while only the top four made it to the final hole for the playoff.

After eight holes, Wesley Bryan, Roger Steele, Sean Walsh, and Luke Kwon made it to the final hole. In the playoff, the former PGA Tour pro Luke Kwon won the event and the inaugural PGA Tour's Creator Classic.
